Silver & Amethyst Quartz German Necklace c.1915

This necklace is imbued with charm. To name only a few of its attributes, there is the rhythmically assembled detail of the silver work, the marvelous shapes and cuts of the violet quartz and last but not least, the beauty of its drape. The stones are especially radiant because they are backed by silver. The necklace has some wear--evident in the slight smoothing of the chain--and is in excellent condition. The pendant measures 3.25 inches long by 1.75 inches wide. The chain is fourteen inches long.
