Miriam Haskell Kelly Green & Goldtone Brooch

This brooch is really exquisite. A few of the highpoints are the lotus leaves--a nod to Egyptian revivals--framing the stones and very appealing kelly green color. The central bead is like huge (.5" high approximately) gumdrop scored and set in an ornately rendered prongs, Parisian style. The trapezoidal beads--on either--side are transparent and edged in shiny goldtone. The goldtone is in excellent condition overall and the Miriam Haskell signature plate appears on the reverse. There is small wear to the topmost, painted-gold part of the rightside flat bead but, otherwise thie piece is in good condition. We believe it to date from the 1960s.
