14K & Garnet Brooch circa 1880

Bright, hollow-cast 14K gold is paired with raspberry, rose cut garnets. The brooch is in excellent condition. Its detailed gold work is fresh and the stones are clean. It is 1.75 inch long x 1 inch wide. The east-west pointed ends are reinforced (on the back) with a triangular and thin layer of rose gold to provide extra support for the pin mechanism.
